Alvilda Hancock Obituary (1918 - 2015)

HANCOCK, Alvilda Piercey- age 97 of Lebanon passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by parents, Luther and Blanche Piercey; husband, Will Houston Hancock; brothers, Douglas, Melvin, and Wayne Piercey; sister, Fredda Russell. Survived by sisters, Ramona (Charles) Haskins and Karen (J.H.) Drennon; and numerous other loving family and friends. Mrs. Hancock was a homemaker and a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Keith Parker officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 12 noon until the service. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Hancock's nephews, Steve, Mike and Jimmy Piercey, Ricky & Jeff Haskins, and Stanley Russell will serve as pallbearers.
