ANDREWS, "Andy" Cornelius Odell- age 81 of Sparta passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus. Preceded in death by parents, Novell & Minnie Andrews; sister, Iva Bearden; and mother of his children, Glenna Andrews. Survived by sons, David (Mary) Andrews of Little Rock, AR and Dale (Freda) Andrews of Sparta; daughter, Gale Lashbrook of Nashville; sisters, Jeanetta (George) Turner and Genievie (Albert Lee) Wyllia; grandchildren, Chris Andrews, Christy (David) Byrd, and Carrie Andrews; and great-grandchildren, Esten Andrews and Aden Andrews. Mr. Andrews was of the Baptist faith and worked at Colonial Baking in public relations for 39 years. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the Partlow Funeral Chapel with funeral services at 3 p.m. Bro. Bransford England will officiate.
