Bobby "Hops" Murphy Obituary (1938 - 2013)

MURPHY, Bobby "Hops"- age 75 passed away Thursday July 4th 2013 in the St. Thomas Hospital Alive Hospice. Preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Evie Lee Hunter Murphy. Survived by wife, Faye Murphy; sons, Tim(Jann) Murphy & Terry(Linda) Murphy; brother, Clyde Murphy; sister, Mary Ann Comer; grandson, Nash Murphy, step-grandson, Brandon Murphy. Mr. Murphy was a 1957 graduate of Smyrna High School and attended Middle Tennessee State College. He was retired from the City of Smyrna serving as Superintendent for Smyrna Public Works. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 7th 1-7 p.m. & Monday July 8th 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Tommy Russell will officiate the services.
