Brenda Joyce Huffman

Brenda “Mamaw” Huffman age 73 of Lebanon passed away August 10, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lois Huffman; her life partner, Mary Evelyn Lucas; and sister-in-law, Dee Huffman.
She is survived by her son, Taylor (Ali) Jones; grandchildren, Ily Jones, Braxton Bush, Waylon Jones, Lainey Jones, and Lawson Jones; brothers, Jack Huffman and Randy (Shannon) Huffman; sisters, Beverly (Brad) Pace, Julia (Jim) Oppold, and Glenda Huffman Killion; She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Brenda was a devoted Christian and proud graduate of Evansville College. During her nursing career she served as a legal nurse consultant and registered nurse at Cedars nursing home for over 20 years. Most recently she had served over 15 years as Director of Nursing at the Pavilion Senior Living . She also co-owned Taterbug Junction Daycare and Meadowlark Retreat.

She enjoyed crafting, cooking, sewing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m and again on Saturday, August 16th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Pastor Kevin Butler will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support Brenda’s beloved grandchildren. Contributions can be sent to Partlow Funeral Chapel, in her memory.
