Carri L. (Porter) Snoddy Obituary (1971 - 2019)

SNODDY, Carri L. - age 47 of Goodlettsville passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her residence. She is survived by parents, Galen and Marcia Porter; husband, Elder Benny Snoddy; son, Eli Snoddy; brother, Greg (Carrie Ann) Porter of Hendersonville and father and mother -in-law, Gayle and Joanna Snoddy of Smyrna. FAMILY IS FOREVER This family was formed all because two people fell in love. It was built on a foundation of love and loyalty. Being a part of a family means giving and receiving unconditional love and support, in good times and bad. This family celebrates each other and creates lifelong memories together. We are always thankful for family. Carri was a 1990 Beech High School Alumni and achieved an Associates Degree from Volunteer State College. She worked as a coding specialist with HCA and Vanderbilt Medical Center for over 20 years. She enjoyed photography, feeding her birds and gardening her flowers. Her pride and joy was being a wife and mother to Benny and Eli and being surrounded by family and friends. She attended and was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and V.B.S. for all ages of children. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 2 p.m.- 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the service. Elder Jerry Shrum, Bro. Brad Whittamore & Bro. Jay Snoddy will officiate the services. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
