Daniel Ernest Fite

FITE, Daniel Ernest- age 58 passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Fite; daughters, Sarah Amanda(Josh) Zimmerman & Rachel Elizabeth(Anthony) Martin; grandchildren, Molly & Jake Zimmerman; mother of his children, Thelma Gail Fite; parents, Dewey J. & Miriam A. Fite; brother, Dr. Austin (Lauren) Fite; sisters, Elizabeth Kluge & Jeneva F.(Dan) Midgett; 14 nieces and nephews. He was educated at Castle Heights Military Academy and graduated from Memphis State Technical Institute with a major in Computer Technology. He worked his entire career in this field with International Paper Company, First Tennessee Bank, and Regions Bank as a computer programmer and analyst. He took a medical leave from Regions Bank in Birmingham in 2006 and fought renal cancer until he succumbed. He was a great history student and authored 2 children s books. He loved his family very much and his greatest pleasure was family reunions and connecting with all the family members. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 23rd 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Chapel.
