Denice Lester Wallace Obituary (1955 - 2015)

WALLACE, Denice Lester - age 59 of Lebanon passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Lester; maternal grandparents, Malcolm & Iva Dell Stroud; & paternal grandparents, Charlie & Leola Lester. She is survived by husband of 40 years, Ray Wallace; mother; Francene Sparkman; son, Jordan (Ashley) Wallace; daughter, Mindy (Sean) Simmons; stepmother, Jean Lester; sister, Debbie (Gary) Johnston; grandchildren, Avery Kate Wallace, Henley Lynn Simmons, & Knox Samuel Wallace; nephews, Hunter Johnston & Derek (Mary) Johnston; great- niece, Taylor Johnston; sister-in-law, Ann Marie Wallace & life-long friends, David & Mary Owens. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the owner of D & D Cleaning. She was also a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed making quilts and children's clothing. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Immanuel Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tom Suiter, Mike Stroud, & Bro. Donald Owens will officiate and interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers, Jordan Wallace, Gary Johnston, Sean Simmons, Hunter Johnston, Derek Johnston, & Joel Owens. Honorary Pallbearers, David Owens, Carl Jones, Mark Easterly, John Turner, Mike Marks, & Phil Bragg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Alive Hospice.
