Edna Barrett Obituary (1924 - 2011)

BARRETT, Edna Volene McPeak- age 87 passed away at her residence Tuesday March 29, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Simp Allen & Eliza Sullivan McPeak; husband, Tom H. Barrett; sisters, Ruby Laws, Lucy Bowen, Maggie Lane, Pauline Lannom, & Carrie Cudzik. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy(Joe) Leahew of Murfreesboro; son, Glendon(Wanda) Barrett of Murfreesboro; 5 grandchildren, & 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2011 4-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Tn. at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday March 31, 2011. Rev. Darrell Whaley will officiate the service.
