Helen Irene Zeman Obituary (1927 - 2018)

ZEMAN, Helen Irene - age 91 passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Lebanon Health & Rehabilitation Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto Kostman & Clara Erhart Kostman; brothers, Edward Kostman & David Kostman; son, Danny Zeman. Survived by husband of 73 years, George Albert Zeman Jr,; daughter, JoAnn (Darryl) Mathews; son, Larry (Sandy) Zeman; brother, James Kostman; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. Helen's passions in life were camping, fishing, casinos and working. She and George ran several successful businesses in Cedar Rapids, Iowa throughout their marriage. She most recently ran a successful country and western wear store, Country Corner, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She closed that business in 2015 when she and George moved to Lebanon, Tennessee to be closer to her daughter, JoAnn. In her free time she enjoyed listening to country music, piano music and liked watching old westerns on T.V. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 3rd 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
