HOUSTON, Herbert Fielding "H.F." age 80 of Lebanon was born February 27, 1934 and passed away Friday April 4, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathryn Purnell Houston; children, Kathryn (Kenny) Tayse & Victor Houston; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; beloved dog, Lucy & cat, Oreo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter K. & Bessie Purnell. Mr. Houston was a cattle farmer and an avid antique car collector. Visitation will be held on Sunday April 6th 2-8 p.m. & Monday April 7th 11:00 a.m. until funeral services at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Dr. Larry Locke will officiate the services. Active pallbearers, Kenny Tayse, Paul Davis, Jared Davis, Blake Houston, Mike Purnell, & Chandler Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be South Carthage Civitan Club, Mid Tenn Antique Car Club, Stones River Antique Car Club, & Cooksey's Coffee Club. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Children's Ministry at College Hills Church of Christ or Charity of Choice.
