Jeffie L. Hitt Obituary (1926 - 2010)

HITT, Jeffie L. Rhodes - age 84 of Lebanon passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Quality Care Health Center. Preceded in death by parents, James K. Polk and Amanda Elizabeth Rhodes; husband, Paul R. Hitt; brothers, Slim, Speck, and Dusty Rhodes. Survived by daughters, Kathy Moody and Cindy (Lee) Mangrum both of Lebanon; sisters, Bea Hitt and Ruby Dunn; grandchildren, J.T. (Shana) Moody, Kimberley (Chris) Moody Trusty, and Abbey Mangrum; great-grandchildren, Reilly and Raegan Moody; special friends, Veda Shepherd and Edna Partlow; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hitt was a homemaker and a member of Berea Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Bro. Todd Elliott will officiate.
