SHORTER, Jesse "J.W."- age 90 passed away Saturday March 14, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Wilson & Amy Eudora Clemmons Shorter; wife, Edna Nichols Shorter. Survived by son, Tommy(Sheila) Shorter; daughter, Beverly(Jodie) Beal; grandchildren, Eric(Shelley) Beal & Dustin(Sarah) Shorter; great grandchildren, Kayla Beal, Cody Beal, Nadia Waid, Jade Hurt & Cora Hurt; brother-in-law, Arthur A. Nichols. Mr. Shorter was a member of Fairview Church and retired contractor. Visitation will be held on Monday March 16th 4-7 p.m. & Tuesday March 17th 2:00 p.m. until funeral services at 4:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Rev. David Freeman to officiate the service.
