Jessie Louise Martin Hunt Obituary (1923 - 2013)

HUNT, Jessie Louise Martin- age 90 passed away Friday December 27, 2013 in the Quality Health Care Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Thomas & Lula Belle Mathis Martin; husband, William Shirley Hunt; brothers, Ed Martin, Frank Martin, Dud Martin, & Perry Martin; sister, Dr. Myrtle Jane Ward. Survived by son, Walter "Pete" (Melanie) Hunt; daughter, Shirlene "Toots" (Dr. Bill) Willis; grandchildren, Tammy(Lee) Hopper, Opie(Tammy) Hunt, Bill Willis III, & Paige(Marty) Hagar; great grandchildren, Ryan(Amy) King, Kristen Hunt, Brooke Hagar, Brittany Hagar, & Brynn Hagar; special friend, Kenneth Fite; beloved pet, Kitty Cat; and many loving family and friends too numerous to mention in "The Glade". A special thank you to the staff & employees of Quality Health Care Center. Mrs.Jessie Hunt was a member of the Gladeville Church of Christ, and owner of Hunt's Grocery Store in Gladeville for more than 60 years. Visitaiton will be held on Sunday December 29th 3-7 p.m. & Monday December 30th 12 noon until funeral services at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Bill Speight will officiate the service. Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Ryan King, Butch Martin, Johnny Martin, Opie Hunt, Andrew Dudley Martin, & Johnny Chaffin.
