Joseph Caruana

Joseph “Joe” Caruana, age 83 of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday April 28, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grezzju & Grace Caruana; his wife, Antionette “Lina” Caruana as well as his siblings, John Caruana, Nina Borg, Lee Caruana, Carmen Grixti and Zena Buhagiar.

Joe is survived by his two sons, Kenneth and Brian, who he loved with all his heart; his sister Sylvia Borg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a loving father-in-law to Silvana and Tatia; and a loving grandfather to his three amazing granddaughters, Emily, Olivia, and Alison, who he loved more than anything.

Joe had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures. He cherished traveling with his beloved wife, creating lasting memories together wherever they went. He enjoyed the excitement of horse races, and found great satisfaction in working with his hands, always tinkering and fixing things. Joe also loved spending time at social gatherings, tending to his garden, and fishing along the shores of Tampa bay. He made a habit of keeping in touch with loved ones by phone, text or FaceTime every day. Joe will surely be missed by all of his family and dear friends ❤️❤️❤️.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13th from 2-6pm at the home of Brian & Tatia Caruana in Lebanon, TN. We welcome those who knew Joe to stop by for refreshments, and share stories and memories with friends and family.
