SUTTON, Katherine- age 86 passed away Friday October 28, 2011 in Smith County. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Butler & Edna Thurman Overstreet; spouses, Lynn Spivey, N.L. Angel Jr. & Barry Sutton; brothers, Robert Glenn Overstreet, Joe Frank Overstreet, Kenneth Wise Overstreet, & Kelly Thurman Overstreet. Survived by step-daughters, Peggy Angel Blackburn & Nancy Sutton(John) Bsaggio; brother, Leon "Jack"(Ann) Overstreet; step-grandchildren, Angela Bates, Kenneth(Laura) Blackburn & Jennifer(Joey) Lloyd, David( Andrea)Blackburn, & Suzanne(Tony)Nelms; 9 step great grandchildren; nephews, Jack(Darci) Overstreet, Clark(Donna) Overstreet, & David(Suzanne) Overstreet; sisters-in-law, Mildred Martin Overstreet Ulrich and her daughters, Linda Overstreet, Donna(Joe) Medine, and Cindy(Paul) Tetreault; Betty Overstreet and her children, Pixie Morgan, John(Sally) Overstreet, Judy & Richard Overstreet; Marian Overstreet McKay and her daughters, Amy(Henry) Behr and Dana Overstreet, Wanda Strong Overstreet Huberts, Bobbie Jones, Robbie & Michael Overstreet; one niece, Nancy Mullins Omer and several great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sutton was a member of College Hills Church of Christ, a retired employee for the State of Tennessee Department of Employment Security, and enjoyed crocheting and collecting ornamental frogs. Visitation will held on Sunday October 30, 2011 2-6 & Monday October 31, 2011 11:00 a.m. until funeral services at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Dr. Larry Locke will officiate the service. Interment, Gordonsville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family & friends. Honorary pallbearers, Tuesday Ladies Bible Study of College Hills Church of Christ & The Birthday Club.
