Kathleen "Frances" (Moser) Dixon Obituary (1927 - 2017)

DIXON, Kathleen "Frances" Moser - age 90 of Lebanon passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents, Ervin Faulkner and Ada Belle Jones Moser; husband, Clay Madison Dixon; brother, Ralph Allen Moser; sons-in-law, James Robert "Bobby" Wood and James Kenneth Oakley. She is survived by daughters, Claydene Dixon Wood-Oakley and Kathy Dixon (Tommy) Chapman; brother, Floyd Shannon (Carolyn) Moser; grandson, Thomas Christopher "Chris" (Melissa) Chapman; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Nolan, and Matthew Chapman. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a sales clerk for Barbara's Dress Shop, Cowan's, McAdoo's, and Factory Outlet. She enjoyed gardening and working outdoors, mowing her own yard until she was 86 years old. She was also a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. and again on Sunday from 12 noon until the service. Interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Larry Bay, Trent Brotherton, Chris Chapman, Kerry Crockett, Ken Harris, Lawrence McKinney, Bobby Moser, & Dwight Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ruth Sunday School Class at Immanuel, Arretha Oakely, Hank Belcher, Phil Belcher, Carl Jones, Bedford Kellow, & Ray Underwood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the building fund at Immanuel Baptist Church.
