Kayla Marie Baird

Kayla Marie Baird, age 38 of Lebanon, passed away on September 23rd, 2026. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Thomas and Ann Baird and maternal grandfathers, Barry Whitehouse and Joel Voils. She is survived by father, Jason (Sherian) Baird; mothers, Tracy Bell and Tracy (Brandon) Weitzel; siblings, Tyler (Rachel) Baird, Ashlee (Dalton) Mullins, Caden Baird; grandparents, Carolyn Marie Whitehouse and Larry and Pandy Singleton; her furbaby, Benji as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.

A 2006 graduate of Lebanon High School, Kayla received a scholarship to continue playing softball at Cumberland University. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in special education from Middle Tennessee State University. Throughout her life, she was a hard worker who contributed to the family business, Baird’s Custom Fence Company, and also worked in construction renovating homes. She had a lifelong love of sports, especially softball and football, and enjoyed cheering on the Tennessee Vols and Tennessee Titans. Above all, she will be remembered as one of the kindest people you could ever meet, with a wonderful smile and a warm spirit that made an impression on those around her.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place Friday, September 25th from 3 to 6 PM at Partlow Funeral Chapel. A private graveside service will be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kayla’s memory to Sherry’s Hope.
