Kristy Burney

KRISTY BURNEY - age 40 passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Summit Medical Center. She was preceded in death by mother, Michele Burney. She is survived by father, Larry (fiancé, Susan Plaxico) Burney; brother, Larry (Ashley) Burney Jr.; fiancé, Kyle Denson and his boys, Tyler, Blaid, and Elijah Denson; nieces, Emma, Lexie, and Cora Burney; and her dogs, Maggie and Ruger.

She was a kindergarten teacher in Florida and Tennessee for 14 years. She received her law degree in 2018 and has been practicing with Legility Law Group. She loved the water and enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards, Trivia, and board games. She also loved the Florida Gators.
She always took care of others before herself and enjoyed spending time with Kyle, the boys, and her dogs.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Conatser Cemetery. Visitation will be at Partlow Funeral Chapel (Partee House, 233 West Main St., Lebanon) from
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
