Lillie Lee Gibbs

GIBBS, Lillie Lee - age 77 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by parents, Johnnie Clayton & Ida Mae Nesbitt; husband, James "Buster" Hallie Gibbs Jr.; sisters, Leonora Ferrell & Willie Belle Woodard; & brother, Truman Nesbitt. Survived by children, Patricia Lynn (Harold) Edwards, James Edward "Jim" (Sandra) Gibbs, & Leonora Ann (Barry) Collins; grandchildren, Christopher Jeremy Edwards, Lauren Brooke (Nathan) Mauer, Miriam Caroline Edwards, Jennifer "Jenny" Nicole (Jeremy) Stein, Ryan Anthony Collins, Emily Logan Byrd, & Robert Jacob "Jake" Byrd; great-grandchildren, Sarah Evelyn "Eve" Mauer, Allison Kate Stein, & James Bennett Mauer; brother-in-law, Clyde Allen Woodard; nieces, Janice (David) Armistead & Mary (Lewis) Roberts; nephew, Ricky Woodard. Mrs. Gibbs was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she was a dedicated worker in the nursery for over 30 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the nursery at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
