DENNEY, Lockie C. Johns- age 83 passed away on Friday January 27, 2012 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marlowe & Martha Ann McQuary Johns; husband, Loyd Wilson Denney; sons, Danny Denney & Ricky Denney; grandson, Christopher Denney; sisters, Helen Perigo & Vergie Jenkins; brothers, Gerald Dean Johns & Leon Johns. Survived by son, Loyd Brent (Molly) Denney of Cedar Hill; daughter, Alice Mays(James Lampley) of Mt. Juliet; sister, Hilda Gunter of Kentucky; grandchildren, Todd Mays, Keith Mays, Sabrina Hudgens, Cherilyn Parker ,Stacy Brooks & William Brooks; 14 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Denney was member of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 29, 2012 4-8 p.m. & Monday January 30, 2012 12 noon until funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Danny Sellars will officiate the services. Family will serve as active pallbearers. Interment, Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens.
