Lois Stone Johnson

JOHNSON, Lois Stone- age 98 passed away Tuesday April 26, 2011 in the Quality Care Nursing Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester Lee & Estella Brown Stone; husband, Cowan Johnson; brother, Estill Lee Stone; sister, Frances Cochran; half-sister, Lucille Hewgley. Survived by son, Charles Cowan (Johnnie) Johnson; grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Jim (Kim) Johnson, Connie(Jimmy) Hollis, Allen(Holly) Yelton, & Angela(Brian) Elder; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother, Harold Bell(Teresa) Stone; half-sister Mary Hill Beehan. Mrs. Johnson was a retired employee of Commerce Union Bank, a member of Barton's Creek Baptist Church and active in Eastern Star & White Shrine & Amaranth for many years. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 28, 2011 4-8 p.m. & Friday April 29, 2011 12 noon until funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Rev. Terry Cathey will officiate the services. Interment, Barton's Creek Cemetery. Family & friends to serve as pallbearers.
