RAGSDALE, Lyda Ricketts- age 84 passed away Friday December 28th 2012 in the St. Thomas Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Gershon & Floy Tarpley Ricketts; husband, Sonny Ragsdale; brothers, Hall Ricketts, Edward Ricketts, & Floyd Ricketts; sisters, Virginia Fuqua, & Nettie Ruth Ricketts; Survived by daughter, Peggy (Joe) Lannom; brother, Clyde(Betty) Ricketts; special friends, Al & Carolyne Cook; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of Gladeville Baptist Church and a retired employee with the Baptist Sunday School Board. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 30th 2-7 p.m. & Monday December 31st 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Dr. Bruce Grubbs will officiate the service. Interment, Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ragsdale's nephews will serve as active pallbearers.
