BAIRD, Mamie L. Alsup- age 96 passed away Monday April 2, 2012 in the Quality Health Care Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland & Mallie L. Clemmons Alsup; husband, Richard Baird; sons, Richard C. Baird & David A. Baird; brothers, Peyton, Clyde, John, Grover, Wilson, & Carl Alsup. Survived by daughters, Joyce Midgett & Linda(John) Riggs; brother, Allie Alsup;daughter-in-law, Gaye Baird; grandchildren, William David Baird, Daniel Clemmons(April) Baird, Patricia(Don) Nicholson, Barbara(Donald) Barnes, Larry(Tonya) Jones, Wayne(Karen) Riggs, Rick(Jessica) Baird, Christy(Adam) Davis; great grandchildren, Drew, Kyle & Daniel Baird, Brock & Austin Yeates, Matt & Emily Nicholson, Wyatt & Ava Jones, Savanah Anntell, Michael Riggs, Ethan Baird, Malachi Davis, & Makenzy Davis; a special thank you to the staff of Quality Health Care Center, the volunteers that provided Sunday School Services & Odyssey Hospice. Mrs. Baird was a member of Baird's Mill Church of Christ, a dietician with McFarland Hospital and Mt. Juliet Elementary School and a member of the Mt. Juliet Historical Society. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 3, 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday April 4, 11:00 a.m. until funeral services at 1:00 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel.
