Melvin Allen Piercey Obituary (1920 - 2012)

PIERCEY, Melvin Allen - age 92 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at The Pavillion. Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Piercey; parents, Luther & Blanche Piercey; brothers, Wayne & Doug Piercey; sister, Fredda Russell. Survived by son, Michael (Pat) Piercey; sisters, Ramona (Charles) Haskins, Karen (J.H.) Drennon, & Alvilda Hancock; grandchildren, Jason (Ashlee) Piercey & Emily (Mark) Blanks; great-grandchildren, Eli, Jackson, & Kylee Piercey and Lillian & Pierce Blanks; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Piercey was a Flight Engineer in the Air Force for 20 years serving in WWII. He was retired from TRW and a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Maple Hill Church of Christ with visitation one hour prior to the service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment, Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
