Myrtle Graves Montgomery Obituary (1930 - 2013)

MONTGOMERY, Myrtle Graves - age 83 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the University Medical Center. Preceded in death by parents, James Henry & Mattie Lou Beadle Graves; husband of 61 years who passed away on March 8, 2011, Willie James "Billy" Montgomery; brother, John Graves; sisters, Nathallia Bradshaw, Irene Carver, & Linda Bibby. Survived by daughter, Debra (Tommy) Binion; sons, James Montgomery and Gary (Connie) Montgomery; sister, Joyce (Floyd) McDonald; grandchildren, Michael (Jenny) Binion, Phillip (Brianne) Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Casey & Tyler Binion, Dexter, Theoren, & Morrigan Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ, a volunteer with University Medical Center for over 10 years, and a homemaker. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and again on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Bro. Joe Widick will officiate and interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers, Jim Bradshaw, Dale Carver, Jr., Jeff Lannom, Norman McDonald, Regan McDonald, & Phillip Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Relay For Life and Sherry's Run.
