SMITH, Nealand "N.C."- age 75 passed away on Wednesday November 3, 2010 in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. & Belle May Smith; brother, Delbert Smith; sister, Elizabeth Ann Smith. Survived by wife of 55 years, Martha Hester Smith; sons, Steve(Margaret) Smith, & Troy(Linda) Smith; grandson, Robert(Maegan) Smith; great grandson, Robert Tatum Lee Smith; step grandchildren, Ronnie & Terry Daniels, and Tommy Parsley; 5 step great grandchildren. Mr. Smith was a member of Suggs Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a retired employee of Methodist Publishing House. Visitation will be held on Friday November 5, 2010 4-8 p.m. and Saturday November 6, 2010 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Spickard will officiate the services. Interment, Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens. Friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
