Peggy Cook

Peggy Ann Cook of Lebanon passed away May 19th, 2024 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jensye Lorene Close; brother, Hollis Close and son, Robert “Bobby” Cook.
She is survived by husband of 29 years, David Cook; children, Shanda (Kurt) Presley, Landon Dunaway, Katharine Saunders and Daniel (Ashley) Cook; daughter-in-law, Cindy Cook; grandchildren, Sam (Faith Jennings) Presley, Abby Presley, Nate Presley, Emme Dunaway, Rhett Dunaway, Graham Cook, Ellie Cook, Jack Saunders, Eli Saunders, Bobby (Yana) Cook Jr.,Taylor Cook and Hailey Cook; great grandchildren, Logan Cook and sister, Jaqueline Rose;

Peggy found joy in spending time with her family, reading books, and tending to her garden. Her macaroni and cheese was legendary, a testament to her cooking skills that were loved by many. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23rd from 11 a.m to 1 p.m with a funeral service to follow in the Partlow Funeral Chapel (602 South Cumberland Street, Lebanon, TN. 37087) with Bro. Glenn Denton to officiate. Interment will take place in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in Peggy Cook's honor.
