DAVIS, Rheta Reed- age 75 passed away Thursday December 25, 2014 in the University Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Steven Reed Sr. & Eula Mae Pararo; husband, Byron Davis Sr.; sister, Jackie Priola. Survived by sons, Byron Davis Jr. & his wife Gay of Lebanon, Rodney Scott Davis of Florida, Gary Steven Davis & his wife Kathy of Alabama; daughter, Renee' Davis Dally & her husband Retired Lieutenant Colonel Timothy R. Dally of Virginia; grandchildren, Byron Reed Davis & his wife Vicki; Henry Robert Davis, Emily Marie Smith & her husband, Lieutenant Brian Smith; Lance Corporal Zachary Dally & his wife Lindsey & Morgan Dally; sisters-in-law, Edna Matthews & Elsie Carter. Mrs. Davis was a member of Seminole Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida & attended West Hills Baptist Church in Lebanon. She was a medical transcriptionist with Pheobe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. Visitation with her family will be held on Friday evening January 2nd 4-7 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
