Robert Lewis "Bob" Painter Obituary (1950 - 2016)

PAINTER, Robert Lewis "Bob" - age 65 of Lebanon passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lendon Painter. Mr. Painter is survived by mother, Dorothy (Bob Rountree) Painter; Rita Chastain Painter, wife of 47 years; children, Deanna Painter (David) Ivey, Rob (Ashley) Painter and Ali Painter (Michael) Stem; brother, Lee Edwin (Jennifer) Painter; sister, Carol Painter Driskell; grandchildren, Christina Ivey (Caleb) Bradford, Cecilia Anne Ivey, Zachary David Ivey, Tyler Christian Ivey, Abby Anne Stem, Kaleb Aaron Stem, Kyla Dawn Painter, and Kannon Gaines Painter; and many other loving family members. Mr. Painter was a 1968 graduate of Lebanon High School. He attended Fairview Church. He was retired and enjoyed officiating many local sporting events, spending much of his time on the lake and with his family and grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jon Akin officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 12 noon until the service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
