Roy Thomas Glenn

GLENN, Roy Thomas- age 77 passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip H. Glenn & Lillie Mae Greer Glenn; daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Dies; & numerous siblings. He is survived by his son, William Thomas Glenn of Gallatin; daughter, Jenniffer(Mike) Cox of Lebanon; sister, Mabel Byrum; grandchildren, Daniel(Christina) Cox, Matthew(Ashley) Cox, Natosha Bates, Michael Williams, & Trica Aucoin; 9 great grandchildren; & numerous other loving family members. Mr. Glenn was affiliated with the Methodist faith, School Principal for Uffelman Elementary School in Monterey, Tn. & teacher/educator in the Junior School of Castle Heights Military Academy from 1966-1976. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 24th in the Mt Olivet Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church. Rev. Rodney Duckett will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in Mr. Glenn's memory to the American Cancer Society.
