BURNETT, Mr. Royce Floyd- age 74 passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 in the Quality Care Center from Alzheimer's. He is preceded in death by parents, R.C. "Red" Burnett & Vera Beck Burnett; wife, Doris Elaine Bryant Burnett; sisters, Faye Burnett Covington & Sue Burnett Presley; brother, Robert Burnett. Survived by son, Royce Lee Burnett; daughter, Melinda Lynn(Jeff) Ledford; grandchildren, Tanner Ledford, Kelsie Burnett, Ali Ledford, Leah Ledford, Kaleb Burnett & Kolbe Burnett; brothers, Ray(Kelly) Burnett, Ralph(Barbara) Burnett, & Raymond(Connie) Burnett; brother-in-law, Gary Presley.\n\nHe was an Army veteran, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, an employee of TVA & a carpenter with Concrete Forms Erectors. Mr. Burnett had a passion to educate others about organ & tissue donation. He supported this mission by donating to NDRI, Empowering Research & Discovery, 1628 JFK Blvd, 8 Penn Center, 15th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 6602 Allen Switch Road, Fort Payne, Alabama 35967.
