Wilburn "Bill" Adams Jr Obituary (1921 - 2016)

WILBURN "BILL" ADAMS JR.- Age 95 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Viola Adams; grandparents, Sam & Emma Bennett; and infant son, Floyd Timothy Adams. He is survived by wife of 70 years, Frankye Adams; children, Frank F. (Yashuko) Adams, Wilburn Ray (Joi) Adams, Jerry Wayne Adams, Phillips Terry Adams, & Evelyn Willette (Bill) Piercey; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. Mr. Adams was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was the owner of Bill's Trim Shop and worked for Bland Casket Co. and Dixie Coach Co. He was also a supervisor at TRW and worked for Sun Conveyor in Memphis. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Terry Fessler officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and again on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Grandsons and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be former co-workers from TRW.
